What's the plan?
Day 1
Arrival to Saint-Petersburg during the day. Transfer to the hotel. Free time.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Walking tour, visiting main highlights: Palace square, The Winter Palace and Hermitage Museum (visit to exposition - optionally), Church of the Savior on Blood, the Bronze Horseman, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Zayachy island and Peter and Paul Fortress. During the day - lunch at the cafe. Free time. Optionally (extra pay): 1. Roof tour - the typical activity of young residents and guests of the city. 2. Evening 2-hours boat trip around Neva River and channels. Welcome dinner with a guide.
Day 3
Today, after breakfast, we will go to Peterhof. This is the residence of the Imperial family, which is currently one of the most famous monuments of world history and architecture in Russia. Visiting Peterhof palace, walking through the most interesting places, after which we go to Kronstadt. On the way to Kronstadt, the guide will tell you about the forts Constantine, Peter 1 and others. Sightseeing tour of the defensive fortress in Kronstadt. Walking through the most interesting places of Kronstadt, visiting famous Sea Cathedral of St. Nicholas, which is probably one of the most unusual cathedrals in Russia, because it is a military Cathedral and was built in honor of sailors. After returning to Saint Petersburg, free time for walking around the city.
Day 4
Early wake up. Morning kayaking experience along the rivers and channels from 6 am to 8 am. The real beauty of the city can be discovered only by taking a trip along the water in a kayak. This is a unique opportunity to see this beautiful city from the water, just as it was always meant to be seen since the very day of its founding. Whether you’re floating along the Moika or Fontanka canals and are gently rocked by the waves of the river, or you’ve stopped to rest alongside the Summer Garden, you’ll have opened your eyes to a whole "new" Saint Petersburg that few are privileged to see. Breakfast at the hotel. Free time for walks without a guide and optional excursions. Departure to Moscow by train at 13 pm, 15 pm or 17 pm (time depends on a request). Checking into the hotel in Moscow. Free time. * Morning kayaking can be replaced with SUP-boarding tour in the morning or in the afternoon.
Day 5
Breakfast at the hotel. Trip to the center by metro (taxi - extra upon wish). Hiking (bicycle tour by prior request) with local guide. Visit to Teatralnaya Square, Alexander Garden and Red Square, walking in Zaryadye Park. Then we hike along Moscow river embankment to watch sights on the way. Lunch at the Russian restaurant. Visiting the viewpoint near Lomonosov Moscow State University. Return to the hotel by metro. Watching of Moscow Metro monuments of Soviet epoch.
Day 6
Walking tour around the Izmailovsky Kremlin territory. Visit to craft workshops. Walk in Izmailovsky Island. Pleasant nature views and architecture. Walking tour in Losiny Ostrov National Park (Elk Island). Option in Izmailovo: the excursion program in Tsar's Manor ХVII century. Hiking 5 km, ↑↓25 m
Day 7
Visit to the Stalin's high building on the Kotelnicheskaya embankment. You will know interesting facts about high-rise Stalin's buildings and some and secrets from Soviet period. Excursion to the apartment of world-famous ballerina of the Soviet period - Galina Ulanova. Also the oldest cinema in Moscow "Illusion" stays in the building. Walking tour of Zamoskvorechye. Visiting the Tretyakov gallery is optional. Lunch there. Free time. Optional evening walk along the embankment to the Krutitsky farmstead (with a visit and tour), a view of the House of Music and the sunset on the Moscow river.
Day 8
End of the program. Transfer to the airport.
