Experience the Altaian gem, Belukha mountain.  This tour is for ones who is ready to get climbing challenge. Belukha mountain is not so high, as Elbrus, but it is more difficult because of weather conditions every time changing. Weather is always unstable in the area of Katun ridge, where the Belukha mountain is located. Glaciers are starting from 2300 m height above the sea level. Three clusters of the way to the top of Belukha should be made using ropes. The main luggage will be carried during three days approach trekking to (and from) the base camp by horses and sherpas.

What's the plan?
Day 1
Meeting at the Gorno-Altaisk Airport. Visiting National Museum of Altai Republic. Transfer to Tungur village. Accommodation at the base. Dinner in the national Altai style. Russian banya (sauna). Height above the sea level during overnight: 860 m
Day 2
Transfer to “Tri Berezi” place by GAZ 66 4x4. Approach to the foot of Belukha mountain, trekking along the Akkem river. Height above the sea level during overnight: 1440 m
Day 3
Reaching the Akkemskoe lake, rope training in camping. Height above the sea level during overnight: 2050 m
Day 4
Trekking to the Tomskie base camping. This day the first part of the way we make through moraine, then we reach Akkemskiy ice (2300 m) and walk on ice until the base camping (3000 m). Height above the sea level during overnight: 3004 m
Day 5
This day we make acclimatization hike and ice climbing training on Arbuz ices near the base camp. Height above the sea level during overnight: 3004 m
Day 6
Crossing the Delone pass (3490 m) and then reaching the Assault camp located on Berelskoe saddle (3434 m). Height above the sea level during overnight: 3434 m
Day 7
This day an assault to the top can be made, if weather conditions are allow and group feels it well. In other case acclimatization hike and a rest after will be made only. Height above the sea level during overnight: 3434 m
Day 8
Climbing to the top of Belukha Eastern mountain, the assault day. Waking up early at the morning we do trek on the snow, and then climb 2 clusters using ropes. Making photos on the top of Belukha mountain (4508 m). Descending strictly to the base camp Tomskie camping. Height above the sea level during overnight: 3004 m
Day 9
Reserve day. If the weather conditions are not well we will spend an additional day in assault camp.
Day 10
Descending from Tomskie camping to Akkem lake. Getting rest and banya after climbing. Height above the sea level during overnight: 2050 m
Day 11
Descending along the Akkem river to “Tri Berezi” camping. Height above the sea level during overnight: 1200 m.
Day 12
Transfer to Tyungur from “Tri Berezi camping”. Accommodation at the base in Tyngur settlement. Height above the sea level during overnight: 860 m.
Day 13
Transfer (450 km) to Gorno-Altaisk. Hostel or hotel accommodation. Height above the sea level during overnight: 300 m.
Day 14
Transfer to Gorno-Altaisk Airport. Flight to Moscow.
