What's the plan?
Day 1
Departure from EU, change flight for Murmansk in St. Petersburg or Moscow. Meeting at the airport (arrival not later than 6:30 pm). Transfer to Teriberka village at the Arctic Ocean coast. Accommodation at the tourist base or hotel. Dinner. Today we will try to catch the Northern Light walking around Teriberka.
Day 2
Snowshoe walk to west side from Teriberka. Snack lunch on the route. Enjoy beautiful views of the Barents Sea and magnificent waterfall that flows into the Arctic Ocean! We walk past big and small tundra lakes, visit the beach of giant stones known as "dragon eggs", the first Kola north weather station founded in 1893, and artillery battery of coastal defense of the Second World War. Return to the village. Dinner. 11 km, ↑↓ 150 m
Day 3
Sightseeing walking along the village. Looking at the moorings of abandoned wooden ships of the 20th century, seeing the “old Teriberka”. Short snowmobile transfer to the Orlovka Bay. Snowshoe walk along south part of the Teriberskiy Peninsula to the view point to old Teriberka lighthouse and open Ocean. You will get acquainted with severe northern nature and admire fantastic landscapes. Snack lunch on the route. Return by snowmobile sled. This evening we will try to catch the Northern Light above the Lodeinaya Guba Bay. Come back to the village. Dinner. 16 km, ↑↓ 250 m
Day 4
Transfer to Murmansk. On the way there are amazing views of the northern nature: boundless tundra, hills and rocks. Check in in the 3* hotel in the city center. Sightseeing city tour in Murmansk. Visit to the world's first atomic icebreaker "Lenin". Free time in the evening.
Day 5
Transfer to Kirovsk which is located in Khibiny Mountains. On the way: visit to husky sled dogs farm. Eventful travelling on dog pulled sleds along snow covered taiga, fields in the vicinity of the Kola river. Hot tea and pies in warm house after the program. Arrive to Kirovsk. Accommodation at the hotel or guesthouse. Dinner. 6-15 km by dog sleds.
Day 6
Snowshoe walk to the Geographers Pass (842 m). Snack lunch on the route. The route starts near the Maly Vudyavr Lake shore, at the source of the Vudyavryok river. During the walk there are beautiful views of the valley of the Imandra Lake and Apatity. The trail will lead us to the source of the Belaya river which flows out of the Bolshoy Vudyavr Lake. After crossing the river over a pedestrian bridge, we find ourselves in Kirovsk. 12 km, ↑↓ 700 m
Day 7
Trip by snowmobile sled to the northern part of Khibiny Mountains. Snowshoe walks on the way. The route depends on the fitness status of the group and weather. It is possible to cut snowshoe part and extend snowmobile part or modify the route. Snack lunch on the route. Overnight at the Kuelporr tourist base. The base is situated in a very picturesque place in the heart of the Khibiny in the valley of the Kuniyok River. In the evening — the great chance to enjoy the Northern Light if weather is lucky.
Day 8
In the morning — snowshoe route to Yuzhny Rischorr and Marchenko Peak. This is one of the most picturesque routes in Khibiny. We start from the Kuelporr base, moving along the Kuniyok River. Visit the frozen Krasivy (Beautiful) waterfall, and then we cross the Yuzhny Rischorr pass (896 m). Next we need to climb the steep slope and go to the the plateau and Marchenko Peak (1032 m). We can enjoy a wonderful view on Rischorr valley. Return to the Kuelporr base. Lunch. After lunch we go by snowmobile sled about 20 km through the Serdtsevidnoye Lake, Dlinnoye (Long) Lake, the Poachvumchorr Mountain Massif and the Kukisvumchorrsky Pass back to Kirovsk. Accommodation at the hotel or guesthouse. Farewell dinner.
Day 9
In the morning we visit the Museum and Exhibition Сenter of Apatit JSC which is one of the brightest and most popular tourist objects in Kirovsk. Optionally, depending on the flight time, there is a visit to Snow Village complex — the great "city" made of snow and ice. Transfer to the airport. Flight home via Saint-Petersburg or Moscow (depends on seasonal schedule of the local airlines).

1: The program can be changed depending on snow situation on the road "Murmansk - Teriberka" and the weather conditions in mountains. Sometimes it is not possible to reach the Kuelporr base. In that case we will stay in Kirovsk (hotel accommodation) and make a radial route to the nearest mountains.

2: Dog sled trip distance depends on the size of group, wishes of tourists and weather and varies from 6 to 15 km. Tourists will have a chance to ride dog sleds themselves. There are 2 tourists in each sled: one person rides half of distance and another one rides the second half.
