Multa Lakes are a real gem of Gorny Altai, they are situated in the territory of Katun Biosphere Reserve which is included in the UNESCO List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage. This tour has been prepared with maximum comfort for you. You will spend all nights throughout the route in warm houses with a furnace, food and rucksacks will be dropped to the base camp by a snowmobile. You will be able to enjoy the protogenic beauty of the nature, to find yourself in hard-to-reach mountain valleys where frozen rivers and lakes are hidden. Skiing about 6-7 hours per day.

What's the plan?
Day 1
Flight from Moscow to Gorno-Altaisk or Barnaul. Meeting at the airport. Visiting the National A. V. Anokhin Museum. Transfer to Maralnik Settlement by minivan (8-9 hours, 420 km).
Day 2
Radial route out to the forester’s house. We test equipment, fit ski-bindings to your shoes, check physical preparation of the participants, in a word we make up our mind to go on a serious ski trip.
Day 3
Passage to the mountain shelter on the shore of Lower Multa Lake (1627 m above the sea level). Accommodation in a wooden house.
Day 4
Radial skiing to the panoramic top. The picturesque panorama of the Multa River and the Krepkaya River valleys will impress everybody!
Day 5
Our way lies on the surface of Lower and Middle Multa Lakes (1650 m above the sea level), and then moving along the bed of the Multa River we will reach Upper Multa Lake (1860 m above the sea level). Return to the base.
Day 6
Route to Lake Kuyguk which is at the height of 2200m above the sea level. From the mouth of the Kuyguk River our way will lie in the Kuyguk Valley at the foot of the mountains. It is a really picturesque place! Return to the base.
Day 7
Day’s rest. We need this day to have a rest and to accumulate power for the next walking day which will be the most difficult day of the trip.
Day 8
Route to Lake Poperechnoye (the height is 1885 m above the sea level). Return to the base.
Day 9
Return to Maralnik Settlement by snowmobile (by sledge). Final Dinner. We congratulate each other with a successful passage of the route!
Day 10
Leaving for Gorno-Altaisk. Stop at Verkhniy Uymon Settlement. Visiting of museums: the Museum of History and Culture of Uymon Valley, the Museum of Local History, N.K.Roerich Museum. Arrival in Gorno-Altaisk, hostel accommodation.
Day 11
Transfer to the airport of Gorno-Altaisk. Departure to Moscow.
